This very famous sculptor was a master his expertise was second to none this highly collectable bronze of two hunting hounds with a partridge hiding in the undergrowth is typical of his work. Excellent condition

Moigniez was one of the best sculptors of his day. Specializing in Animalier bronzes. This delightful study of a Cock Pheasant standing his ground against a weasel hiding in the undergrowth, a very detailed sculpture full of life, and a superior cast. circa 1864. signed J Moigiez.
