A fine sculptor of Animals who exhibited at the Paris Salons on many occasions and winning various accolades for his excellent studies. This working Spaniel carrying a Mallard in his mouth  is typical of his work.

French.

Peters fist exhbited at the Paris Salon of 1868. He also exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Francaises winning a gold medal. His works can be found in the Museum of Cahors. This delightful study of a Lioness and her cubs is signed and having a foundry seal.
